ENVIRONMENTAL SOLUTIONS FOR BUILDINGS AND PREMISES (QAI)

Contaminants in air pipes can range from dust to leaves and mould, creating a perfect environment for the reproduction of biological pollutants, because of the closed spaces, constant temperature, humidity and dirt as nutrients. 

The main parameters to be measured in a Quality Assurance Inspection (QAI) in interiors are:

SAHICASA will design a periodical Control Plan which will include at least a revision and maintenance programme, cleaning and disinfection, analytical control, vector control, control of suppliers, procedures, protocols and training of workers.

The initial diagnosis will include a microbiological control which will allow the existing contamination to be evaluated and the drawing up of a report referring to the levels of pollution.

The correct hygienisation of the parts of the air conditioning/ventilation systems is also recommended (air treatment unit- ATU) as this will create significant benefits from the point of view of energy-saving

OPERATING THEATRES

SAHICASA offers sample taking from operating theatres of all kinds to evaluate the indoor air quality and that of the surfaces.

The evaluation always takes into account current UNE regulations regarding operating theatres.

Sample taking is carried out to determine the following parameters:

• Environmental and surface microbiology parameters

• Physical and chemical parameters

• Particles in suspension

HYGIENISATION OF AIR CONDITIONING PIPES

Over time, air conditioning systems and their pipes suffer from the presence of environmental contaminants and dirtiness, such as dust, fungi, waste, organic remains, etc.

If a correct maintenance plan is not established, this can lead to problems in the functioning of the systems as well as producing diverse alterations in the health of users, possibly leading to respiratory pathologies, allergies, etc.

We apply current regulations and take the current UNE REGULATIONS as a reference, the purpose of which is to correctly value and develop working protocols that improve the hygiene of air conditioning units.
